Hi, my name is Koos. I’m a portrait artist. I have spent years researching hundreds of photographic products to find the most beautiful, timeless and classy ways to showcase portraits. During our consultation, I help my clients discover what their passion is all about – special people, special places, special family traditions…I understand their discerning taste and really want to help them give their memories the quality attention they deserve. "Who would think that Port Orchard, WA, would be home to such amazing artistic talent?

Recently, we commissioned Koos for family portraits, and a professional "head shot." Magically, our three boisterous dogs behaved for the portraits (maybe Koos is a dog whisperer!). And the un-retouched photos alone somehow captured the essence of each family member, and the heart of who we are together as a family. The head shots are among the best I've ever seen...truly professionally done.

" We have used many photographers, over the years for family portraits. Now we only hire Christine Ellis of Photos by Koos. She captures our children's personalities so well. There are always too many great pictures to limit yourself to. Quite often we revisit the proofs and find other poses we can't do without.
